No matter the predetermined outcome of the Zundel decision, the Canadian Human Rights Commission / Tribunal in their zeal to extend their self regulating jurisdiction over the Internet (thereby extending their mandate to “protect” small interest groups) can't get no satisfaction
because:
the Internet site in question is hosted by a server located in the U.S.
the domain name in question is registered to another party.
the internet by definition does not meet the jurisdictional criteria.
The Canadian “human rights police” appear willing participants in the erosion of your basic human / citizens rights to gain “legitimacy” for those “special” interest groups who seemingly have infiltrated the ranks via seduction or osmosis.
The Commission / Tribunal know that unless commonsense breaks out amongst the eastern mandarins occupying space in Ottawa, the Canadian Human Rights Commission /Tribunal decision against Zundel will only temporarily “give” the Canadian human rights police jurisdiction over the internet until a Canadian Federal or Supreme Court overturns the decision for the above mentioned three reasons.
The Commission / Tribunal has learned from the Zundel 5 year fiasco that they cannot have “jurisdiction” outside of Canada and need to rewrite the Canadian Human Rights Act in order to include the Internet. DUHHH !!!!
The Canadian Human Rights Commission / Tribunal realizes that the legitimate press, the majority of Canadian Citizens and all Internet users should fight to the last man, woman and child to prevent a rewriting of the Canadian Human Rights Act, which would subject the Internet to Section 13.1 of the Act making all Internet sites vulnerable to frivolous lawsuits / tribunals and inquisitions whenever they determine that the feelings of some fringe interest group is hurt.
Instead the Canadian Human Right Commission / Tribunal in its anticipated and embarrassing Zundel defeat is mustering all the Kings horses and all the Kings men to destroy the Citizens Research Instrument and your Internet freedoms, which if you stand by and do nothing will never be put back together again.
