First they came for the religious
But I was not religious
so I didn't speak up.

Then they came for the educators.
But I thought I was not a teacher ,
so I didn't speak up.

Then they came for the law.
But a lot of nasty laws needed revision
so I didn't speak up.

Then they came for the kids.
But I was not one,
so I didn't speak up.

Then they came for me the Heterosexual.
And by that time there was no one left to speak up.
