Q: Who is the CITIZENS RESEARCH INSTITUTE?
A: Citizens Research Institute has developed this DECLARATION OF FAMILY RIGlITS, which is an instrument enabling parents to inform a school or other institution of restrictions to be placed on programs and activities which violate their child's family values. Parents are encouraged to file this Declaration with their school and obtain some assurance that it will be honoured. It is apparent that parents can no longer depend on verbal or informal means of asking for their rights to be upheld in the school. This Declaration is intended to provide a specific, legal process for informing the school of a legitimate request, and to enable the teachers to be properly informed of the limits of authority granted by the parents.
